MUMBAI: Saina Nehwal took to social media and shared her opinion on coronavirus vaccine.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched one of the world's biggest coronavirus vaccine programmes. The vaccination programme aims at inoculating three crore health and other frontline workers first.

Taking to her social media handle, Saina Nehwal shared a video where she lauded the medical team and scientists for their efforts.

In the video, the badminton star mentioned that she has faith that the vaccine would save lives.

“The new #Covid19vaccine is here & it’s safe & effective. I trust the vaccines & I will take the shot when my turn comes. For now, wear a mask, maintain #socialdistance, wash your hands regularly,” Saina Nehwal further wrote in her caption.
