MUMBAI: Sholay’s Veeru and Jai have epitomised the bond of friendship and their pair is still admired by people. While Dharmendra portrayed the role of Veeru, Amitabh Bachchan got into the skin of Jaidev aka Jai in this Ramesh Sippy directorial. This friend duo from the 1975 cult film is so popular even today that whenever people see a pair who shares a strong bond of friendship is tagged as Jai-Veeru. It seems the Pandya brothers too have reminded a fan of Jai and Veeru.
Krunal and Hardik have time and again given sibling goals to their fans and followers. They are not just brothers but also best buddies and share a great rapport with each other. They have always stood beside each other through thick and thin.
The cricketers, who are currently busy with the Indian Premier League, have been treating their fans by sharing pictures from their personal as well as professional lives. Yesterday, Hardik shared another picture with his elder brother with the caption ‘2 sides of the coin’. The monochrome picture sees the brothers decked up in cool outfits which they teamed up with hats.

The picture reminded a social media user of Sholay’s Veeru and Jai. ‘Jay veeru,’ read the comment. Another thought they looked like a magician and wrote, ‘Jadugar lag rahe hai dono.’ We also came across comments such as ‘Osm pic panday bhai’, ‘Pandya brother’, ‘Mumbai ki jaan pandya bhai’, ‘Bhai bhai’, ‘Karan arjun’, among others.
