MUMBAI: VVS Laxman, who has started an amazing series on social media to pay tribute to all those who have influenced him immensely, has dedicated his latest post to Mohammad Kaif.
Today, he took to his social media page and penned down a note for Mohammad Kaif, who is regarded as one of the best fielders in the Indian cricket team.

VVS Laxman called Kaif a product of India’s ‘robust grassroots structure’ and that he has inspired an entire generation of players from Uttar Pradesh. “A product of India’s robust grassroots structure, @mohammadkaif87 inspired an entire generation of players from Uttar Pradesh to shed their insecurities and play at the highest level,” wrote the cricket commentator.
He further added, “His electric fielding soon became the benchmark that thousands strived to emulate.”

So far, VVS Laxman has paid tribute to Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Sourav Ganguly, Javagal Srinath, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ashish Nehra and Gautam Gambhir.
