When this badminton player revealed she was interested in becoming a doctor

MUMBAI: PV Sindhu started playing badminton from a young age and eventually went on to establish herself as a successful sports star.

A recipient of the sports honour Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, the pretty lady made her international debut in 2009. She is the first Indian to become the Badminton World Champion.

Needless to say, PV Sindhu is one of the most popular and gorgeous sports stars.

Did you know she had once revealed that she was interested in becoming a doctor?

Well, in an old interview with Scroll, PV Sindhu had shared a lot of things about herself. In the same interview, she also revealed that she was interested in becoming a doctor. It so happened that she was asked how good she was at studies and to this, she said, “I was good at studies, yes. After 10th I wasn’t regular, for sure, because I had to travel. When I was not a badminton player, when I had not become like so famous, I was very much interested in becoming a doctor! But I now feel, okay... badminton is much, much better.”

Recently, PV Sindhu had shared an interesting video on her social media page. She took to Instagram and uploaded a fun-filled dance video wherein she was seen grooving to the song ‘Iko Iko’. Joining her in the dance session was none other than her buddy Sanyogita Ghorpade. Sharing the video, PV Sindhu wrote, “You can count on me like one , two , three I’ll be there and I know when I need it I can count on you like four , three, two you’ll be there cause That’s what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah and we still have been counting on eachother @sanyogitaghorpade 11 years and counting #11yearsandcounting”
