MUMBAI: Television actress Aarti Bhagat has left fans mesmerized with her grand bridal look in the latest track of the hit TV show Jamai No. 1. Taking on the role of Manjiri, Aarti donned a striking dark pink bridal ensemble with elaborate jewelry, reflecting a traditional yet royal aesthetic that has gone viral on social media.
In a candid conversation, Aarti shared the effort and excitement that goes into preparing for such an elaborate look. “It takes nearly three to four hours every day to get ready as a bride,” she revealed. “From the detailed lehenga draping to the heavy jewelry and makeup—it’s a process. But honestly, I enjoy it. The transformation feels magical.”
Her fans are loving the attention to detail and the emotional intensity the bridal sequence brings to the storyline. Speaking about her experience shooting the festive track, Aarti said, “These sequences are always special. The vibe on set is different—colorful, emotional, dramatic. I love shooting such grand scenes because they bring so much energy and emotion together.”
While bridal looks are stunning on screen, they aren’t easy to carry—especially in peak summer heat. But Aarti has her own ways of staying fresh and composed. “Shooting in heavy costumes during summer can be really exhausting. I stay hydrated constantly—coconut water and lemonade are always on hand,” she said. “I also make sure to use ice rollers between shots to cool my face and refresh my skin.”
She also revealed a few of her personal summer hacks: “Rose water is a must in my vanity. I also use a lot of mint-based facial mists and avoid heavy creams. For hair, I rely on light serums and natural oils to prevent damage from sweat and styling.”
As for what’s next on Jamai No. 1, Aarti’s character Manjiri is stepping into a completely new chapter. Having recently tied the knot with Pratham, the show has now taken a surprising turn with Manjiri’s pregnancy revelation. “It’s an emotional rollercoaster,” Aarti teased. “There’s a lot coming up—family drama, personal struggles, and a new dynamic between Manjiri and Pratham that audiences haven’t seen before.”
