Aashka Goradia turns producer

It appears that Aashka Goradia is taking inspiration from mentor Smriti Irani. The attractive Aashka is following in Smiriti’s footsteps as she is all geared to start her own production house. Last seen in dance reality show Kabhii Kabhii Pyaar Kabhii Kabhii Yaar, Aashka is now turning producer a la Smriti. Her first show as a producer is slated to launch soon. Aashka owns a company named Mirabelle entertainment which has been organising corporate events since the last two years. Now the company is all ready to produce television shows. What prompted her to turn producer? She says, “You can’t be doing the same thing all your life. It gets monotonous after a point of time. Acting, of course is my passion but I want to try my hands at something else as well. I can’t be earning money from acting all my life. Production would be a good back up plan.” Aashka has been around as an actress for 6-7 years. She was seen in shows like Kkusum, Saath Phere, Sinndoor, Virrudh, Mere Apne . Elaborating on her production plans, she says, “I will be producing one fiction and one non-fiction show. Both the shows are in the pre-production stages. Hopefully, things will fall into place by the end of this month.” When asked if she also plans to be in front of the camera in her shows, she says, “I can’t ride on two horses at the same time.” She plans to stay away from acting for a while as she wants to concentrate on the production of her shows.
