Abbas Tyrewala to direct Endemol’s next for Star Plus

This one is already making us super excited. Endemol Shine India that has already made its mark with reality shows like Bigg Boss, The Voice India, Fear Factor and more, is now all set to venture into an ambitious finite fiction series. Credible sources have exclusively informed us that the production house will launch a new project for Star Plus. It would be an adaptation of an international series and is said to be a big ticket for the channel. Above all, talented screenwriter Abbas Tyrewala who made his directorial debut with the much acclaimed Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has been roped in as the director of the show. Shared a source, “The drama will have five leads, two guys and three girls. The story will delve into the lives of the characters and their pasts. It is said to be a drama filled with emotions, humour, love and pain. It is a show that the entire programming team is looking forward to.” Isn’t all of this giving you goosebumps??? It looks like a hit show already! When we reached out to Abbas he refused to speak about it stating that it is too early to talk about. We also dropped a text to Producer Deepak Dhar and the channel spokesperson but have not received any revert till the time of filing the story.
