Abhinav 'Dev' Shukla quits Geet

Abhinav Shukla will soon make his exit from Star One’s show, Geet. He’s quit the show but his character, Dev, will have a happy ending. Though Dev will be seen in the show for a few more episodes, Abhinav has already made up his mind. Says Abhinav, “Yes, it is true I have quit the show. I discussed it with the production house and we came to a mutual consensus. I thank them for understanding me and it was a wonderful experience working for the show. There is no last date as such because I haven’t given them a particular deadline. I will be shooting for some more episodes.” Rumours also suggest that Abhinav who was earlier supposed to play the lead in Shakuntalam’s Kudesan will now be seen as a part of the younger generation in Na Aana Iss Des Laado. However, Abhinav refused to comment saying, “There is something in the pipeline, a few projects which I am considering but it is too early to talk about them right now.”
