TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him whether he thinks that lobbying exists in the industry and did he feel that he lost projects since he was an outsider.

Talking about your character it's like you are playing a star which you already are so was it easy to essay the character?

He is not only a superstar but also a human being, he has emotions and he is very close to his family and then there is a love story. No one has seen a superstar's love story, like everyone has seen the stardom and the pain and struggles no one knows and he looks for validation from his family.

Do you agree with Zain Imam's statement on the lobby system of only special people getting work?

I want to believe that there is nothing like that. I feel that if you are talented you will go a long way and that I have always been honest to my work and to my craft and people will see your honesty and hard work and no matter what you will notice and you will reach where you have to at the end of it nothing can happen that quick. I have a journey. I started with Television then I was a part of Student of the Year so I was patient and got the projects that I deserve and I am a good learner.

Did you ever feel that because you are not in their circle you lost on a project?

Even if it happens it would be happening at the backend I don't know and my focus is also not that. My focus is something else as I have also said no to many projects and what I like I get that offer and I don't want to focus on it.

Well, there is no doubt that the fans are excited to see Abhishek in a new show.
