Abhishek Sharma is a mama's boy

Parents often complain that their kids change (in behaviour and attitude) after achieving stardom, but here’s someone who remains just the same as before. Abhishek Sharma, famous as Benji in Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum and last seen in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka, is just the way he was before he achieved success. Incidentally, Abhishek entered the entertainment business as a child artist. He played Hrithik Roshan’s younger brother Amit, in the film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Many years have passed since then and Abhishek has grown up with age and has matured as an actor. However, one thing hasn’t changed with time. Just like it used to be before, Abhishek’s mother, Neeta Sharma, still finalizes his projects. As a matter of fact, it was his mother who motivated him to enter the business. “When I was a kid, mom initiated my career. Back then, she handled just everything. And I like it when she takes over even now. Things get easy for me as my mom selects the best projects for me. After she does that, she lets me make a choice and gives her valuable suggestions. She doesn’t force her opinion on me at all,” he beams. On the work front, Abhishek is going through scripts. He is looking forward to some substantial role in TV and films. And no points for guessing who is handling it all. “Undoubtedly, my mother. After all, I am a mama’s boy,” signs off Abhishek.
