Abida Parveen, Suresh Wadkar and Runa Laila to judge Sur-Kshetra

Tellychakkar.com was the first to report that Sahara One’s singing reality show Sur-Kshetra will have a renowned panel of judges. Now, here’s revealing the names of them. If sources are to be believed then musical maestros Abida Parveen, Suresh Wadkar and Runa Laila have been roped in to judge the show. Abida is a Pakistani singer who is renowned for her ghazals and Urdu love songs. She can sing in Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi and Persian. Furthermore, Suresh Wadkar is an Indian playback singer who has impressed all with his soulful renditions in many Hindi movies and private albums. And of course, who doesn’t know about power-packed singer Runa Laila and her eternal song Dama Dam Mast Kalandar. It is also believed that more names will be included in the panel of judges. Tellychakkar.com did talk to a senior channel official who confirmed the news but chose to remain anonymous. Sur-Kshetra is being produced by Gajendra Singh and will hit the screens next year. Himesh Reshammiya and crooner Atif Aslam will be representing India and Pakistan as the captains of their respective teams in the battle of voices.
