MUMBAI: The Q, India’s fastest growing Hindi General Entertainment channel launches its first original crime fiction show ‘Jurm Ka Chehra’ for television. The show is set to premiere on Saturday, September 4th and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9PM exclusively on The Q. Hosted by renowned actor Kinshuk Vaidya, the show is based on modern age crime stories plaguing our society. Crime has increased and changed its face with the changing times. It’s not just murders and robbery, that can scare the day light out of people but also other unethical and rampant crimes like cybercrimes, online frauds amongst others. With an aim to create awareness, the show will bring to its viewers ‘Naye Zamaane Ki Nayi Crime Stories’, inspired by modern age crimes.
Actor Kinshuk Vaidya who rose to fame with his massive popularity as a child actor in the early 2000’s on being the host of the show shared, “I have grown up watching crime thrillers and investigative shows. So, hosting one was like a dream come true and quite exhilarating. However, with changing time, the nature and face of crime and criminals has changed and hence what sets this show apart is that it will give the viewers insight into the modern age crimes. Honestly, shooting for it has also made me more aware as a person and also as a consumer of various products, services and technologies. I really hope the audiences watch our show and benefit from it as well”.
