We are talking about an extremely popular youth-based show, which is not on-air anymore. The atmosphere on the sets of this show had more drama than that shown on-screen.

For a particular scene, the actors playing a couple in the show had to smooch. However, the actress was not informed about the same.

The production people planned a foolproof trap for the actress where they promised her that the scene will just have the hero giving a peck on her lips and nothing beyond that; the actress, who was relatively new at that point, was naive enough to believe them.

The production team later made sure none of the actress' friends from the cast was present on the set to support her while they planned to corner her with the smooching scene.

Next, the team asked the lead actor to keep kissing the actress until the director said 'cut'.

The team also made sure they used a three-camera set-up for the scene, so that they could roll all the shots (close-ups, mid-shots, and wide shots) in the limited period until the heroine figured things out.

And unfortunately, they were successful.

The lead actor smooched the actress, and before she could realize what had happened, the production team got their shot.

The upset actress had to cajole her parents after they saw the scene on-screen.

Both the actor and actress involved are fairly popular in today’s time.
