MUMBAI: Naagin is one of the most loved shows on television. The serial frequently tops the rating charts, and the storyline is quite gripping and keeps the audiences hooked to the TV screens.

Every season of Naagin has been a huge success, and the audiences showered their love on Naagin 5 as well.

The role of Jay is very powerful and loved one on television and viewers love watching Surbhi, Sharad, and Mohit’s bond.

But before bringing Mohit Sehgal on board, the makers had offered the role of Jay to a few other actors who refused to play it.

1 Zain Imam

Zain Imam was offered the role of Jay but he refused and the reason is still unknown.

2. Varun Sood

Varun was also offered the role of Jay and he was almost finalised for the role, but then something went wrong and things didn’t work.

3. Shivin Narang

Shivin Narang was finalised for the show and in many interviews, he did say that he was a part of the show but the suddenly there was a change and he wasn’t a part of the show, though the reason is still unknown.

4. Sidhant Gupta

Sidhant was almost finalised for the show but then at the end moment, he was replaced by Ekta Kapoor and the reason is still unknown.

5. Param Singh

Even Param was offered the role but he didn’t take it up as he chose another romantic show over it.

Well, in the end, the role was bagged by Mohit Sehgal and fans feel he is the perfect choice for the role and no one could do justice to Jay the way he did.

Fans have also said that Bani and Jay’s chemistry is unmatchable.

No doubt that it’s a big loss for these actors and they missed out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
