MUMBAI: Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi fame actress Mona Singh, on comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show, revealed about her husband Shyam Gopalan’s proposal. She termed it as a 'super bad proposal' on the show, narrating about the day when Shyam proposed to her. 

Mona also revealed she was unsure about marriage, followed by the duo dating for five years before they tied the knot. Also, the actress revealed Shyam’s proposal caused a lot of chaos on the streets of the city.

The actress shared that her now-husband Shyam told her to tag along with her as he had to go shopping, and after he picked her up, he stopped the car in the middle of the road. Mona further revealed she had no idea about it, and he popped the question to her about marrying her. And even before she could respond, Shyam pushed the ring as he was nervous too.

Mona further revealed a funny turn this proposal took, of being abused. She mentioned as he stopped the car in the middle of the road, they were abused by the drivers behind their car.

Hence, Mona called it a 'bad proposal'. Spilling the beans she also shared when he proposed her Shyam forgot to play the music to create the romantic atmosphere. But funnily he later remembered and then played it.

Mona tied the knot with Shyam in December 2019. Also talking about family planning, she said, “I have frozen my eggs and now I am free. I did that at the age of 34. Because I have gotten married now, I want to chill with my partner and travel the world with him.”.
