Adaa Khan is one of the lead actresses in Indian television who has got the scope to enact various defining shades in the role of Amrit in Life OK's Amrit Manthan (Director's Kut). The actress after essaying a negative shade has turned a new leaf, and is shown to be extremely positive, having immense faith in God.
Recently for a particular sequence in Amrit Manthan, the girl had to recite the Guru Granth Sahib, Holy Book of Punjabis, and she did it with perfect élan.
As per sources, the sequence was wherein the dead Agam's (Navi Bhangu) mother is sobbing remembering about her son's promise that he would recite Guru Granth to her. Amrit who is crestfallen recites it to her, making the woman happy.
Says Adaa, "I have earlier given shots wherein I am reciting Guru Granth Sahib. But for this particular scene, I have lent my own voice. I am glad to have quite a lot of Punjabis in the set of Amrit Manthan and I got the whole part in writing. I was very keen to recite and pronounce well, without any mistake. I took time out, and by hearted it. The scene came out well, by the grace of God."
This particular sequence will go on air this week.
