MUMBAI: Aditya Deshmukh, with over a decade of experience in the TV industry, is known for his role as Vikram Shukla in the popular show "Suhaagan." However, Aditya revealed exclusively that he has decided to quit the show "Suhaagan" due to creative dissatisfaction.
Aditya Deshmukh expressed his creative dissatisfaction with his character, highlighting his frustrations with the production. The actor said, “I was supposed to leave the show in September 2023, but Rashmi Sharma Productions was not letting me do that. They wanted me to do this show. . I realised that my character has no life. I told the production staff that I don’t want to do this. They did something interesting for my character, but it didn’t last for a long time. They gave me false hopes. Also, I was working with the new talents, because of which we didn’t get enough exposure.”
When asked if he exited Suhaagan on an amicable note, Aditya said, “I wouldn’t say amicable as I had clashes with the creative team. March 31 was supposed to be my last day on the show, but I was told to work till April 30. In the first week of April, we had a conflict. It was quite difficult for me to work for the show. During my leave days, I asked the team if I could pick up something else. They told me yes.”
“I shot my last scene on April 7, 2024. Then I got to know that the whole family was there for a shoot, but I was not called for it. I understood the sign,” the Ziddi Dil Maane Na actor added. Aditya Deshmukh also revealed that he has not signed any new projects. He is currently in talks with some people and will surely share good news soon. I am a positive person and live life one day at a time!
