In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Anshul Bammi shed light on television shows opting for remakes of regional content.
He expressed, “Yes, there is a lot of content being remade and I think that it is a good thing. Even Hindi movies are remaking south films and moreover, there is a good flow of south cinema content also in our industry now. As for Bengali shows being remade, I think Bengali shows are loud but very creative. To top it up, new talents are getting work unlike earlier times, where popular actors were roped in for multiple roles and were repeated in every second show.”
He further added, “While TV dramas are doing good OTT has given actors an opportunity to do something different and out of the box. As an artist, I just want to work and be a part of content which is something distinguished and creative. As for Advocate Anjali Awasthi, the shooting pattern is a little different. While in Hindi TV shows, we are a little limited to freedom and have to follow the script and character description, here we are given the authority and freedom of creativity.”
