MUMBAI: In two days, Bigg Boss 18 will have its winner. Chum Darang, one of the finalists of the show, has been receiving massive support, with more people rooting for her victory each day.
Now, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has come out in full support of Chum Darang. Taking to his Instagram handle, the Minister urged his followers to vote for Chum, recognizing her as a representative of the North East region of India.
In his heartfelt post, Kiren Rijiju shared a poster of Chum and emphasized the importance of supporting her journey. "I never get into any TV shows but @chum_darang is the pride of my Arunachal Pradesh and a shining star of the North East!" Rijiju wrote.
He also highlighted that Chum’s journey on Bigg Boss is not just about personal achievement but also about the pride of the entire North East. He continued, "It’s about us, our culture, our stories & our representation on the national stage!!"
Previously, Arunachal Pradesh's Chief Minister, Pema Khandu, also joined the campaign to support Chum. He expressed his pride and admiration for her achievement, writing on Facebook, "I'm happy to learn that Chum Darang, a daughter of Arunachal Pradesh from Pasighat, has reached among the top 9 of the reality show Bigg Boss 18. Show your solidarity with her, and don't forget to vote for Chum. I'm hopeful that she will be a winner and achieve many more milestones in years to come. My best wishes to Chum Darang."
