MUMBAI: A while ago, Colors' daily soap Shakti Astitva Ke Ahsaas Ki, which stars Rubina Dilaik and Vivian Dsena, underwent a leap.
Produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, Shakti has really engaged the audience with its unique storyline revolving around a kinnar. In order to give a fresh feel, the makers introduced Soumya’s young daughter in the show, who is also a kinnar. Well, it looks like the girl will go on to project the new female lead now. According to our sources, the hunt for the actress who will play the titular role is still on.
Another development we hear is that Rubina might quit the show in the next month or so, as she would not like to play a mother to a grown-up.
When we contacted Rubina, she said, 'There is some rumour that is igniting this news. There is no truth to this.'
