MUMBAI: &TV show Meri Hanikarak Biwi narrates the interesting story of Komal, who overcomes life's battles with grace and how Akhilesh's (Karan Suchak) life turns upside down after his fiancée Ira (Jiaa Shankar), a doctor, accidentally performs a vasectomy operation on him.

To spice up the drama, Meri Hanikarak Biwi will now introduce a Muslim family who will wreak havoc in the lives of Akhilesh and Ira. Ek Shringhar – Swabhimaan actor Akshay Verma will soon be making an entry in the show along with Ankita Bahuguna. Ankita has appeared in shows such as Qubool Hai and Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi.
Akshay and Ankita will play father and daughter in Meri Hanikarak Biwi.
