While fans of Ali Asgar might be keeping their fingers crossed hoping to see him in the next season of Sony Entertainment's Comedy Circus, here’s some sad news. Ali will not be a part of the upcoming season of the show. Reason: he declined to be a part of it as he wants a break.
“I just want to take some rest,” says Ali. He has been a part of this show right from the first season and has also won four times.
He, along with, Kapil Sharma took the pole position in Comedy Circus Ke Tansen in the previous season. And it looks like Ali has great memories of his association with Kapil.
“When you work with someone for a long time, you develop a rapport with him or her. Same was the case with Kapil. And maybe if I was paired with Kapil, I would have agreed to be a part of the next season,” he says.
The buzz is that the finale of the current season of Comedy Circus (Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur) will be shot on 14 January 2012. On the other hand, the shoot for the next season of Comedy Circus will commence from 3 January, but the exact date when it will go on air is not yet finalized.
Ali tells his fans not to lose hope. “I may not be doing Comedy Circus, but I have a few projects lined up, so I will surely keep entertaining viewers,” Ali signs off.
