Ali Merchant to cut short from Raja's baraat?

Well, that's what sources from the production house tell us. Ali who entered Star Plus' afternoon show Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat to give it a new lease of life is soon exiting the show for reasons best known to him. The actor, according to sources, has informed the production house of his decision and apparently, he will be seen for another couple of weeks. Informs a source from the production house, "Ali Merchant's character of Angad that entered on a positive note eventually turned negative though justifiably as he is Chhoti Rani's illegitimate son and hates her mother for not giving him the rights of being her child and disowning him. Ali has now decided to exit the show and has conveyed the same to the producers." When contacted the actor said, "I don't know who is fanning these rumours." Ali who has impressed all and sundry with his negative act as Angad in Raja is doing a positive role in Rajshri Productions' Do Hanson Ka Jodaa.
