All’s not hunky-dory on Comedy Circus 2

If sources are to be believed, then few stand-up comedians on Sony’s Comedy Circus 2 are having a tough time dealing with their female partners. While the Sayantani Ghosh-Kuldeep Dubey spat spilled out in the open, news has it that there are other unhappy pairs too.

If sources are to be believed, then few stand-up comedians on Sony’s Comedy Circus 2 are having a tough time dealing with their female partners. While the Sayantani Ghosh-Kuldeep Dubey spat spilled out in the open, news has it that there are other unhappy pairs too. Our source from the sets says, “Apparently, most of the male comedians feel they can’t express themselves fully in the company of their female partner. Often, the female contestants chalk out content which they find very objectionable. That’s not all; those female contestants who work in daily soaps fail to give enough time for rehearsals. There are times when these girls report at the eleventh hour for the rehearsals” However, one female who claims that all’s fine between her and her partner is Kamya Punjabi. “Rajiv (Thakur) and I gel really well. We don’t have any such problems. I do look at the script and if I have certain reservations then Rajiv is sensible enough to understand my point of view. Besides, he’s a very sweet guy.” Hey Kamya, Rajiv is wise not to mess with TV’s numero uno vamp!
