MUMBAI: The fact that Aly Goni and Natasa Stankovic once dated is widely known. Even though they co-starred in Nach Baliye's ninth season, they broke up shortly after the show's conclusion. Aly has now given a strong hint as to why they actually broke up, even though no one knows for sure.
Aly Goni recently discussed his past relationships on the podcast with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The actor stated that they broke up because Natasa wanted to live away from his family, even though he did not mention her name.
“Jo mera isse pahle bhi relation tha, voh bahut hi serious tha. Uska reason hi yahi tha ke usne mujhe bola ke ‘yaar jab hum shaadi kareinge future mein hum alag raheinge’. Voh cheez mujhe nahi jami (My previous relationship was very serious. The reason we broke up was that she told me that we would live separately. I did not agree to it),” Aly said.
Goni is currently starring in Laughter Chefs and added that he wants to live with his family and is not interested in living apart. “Main apne family ko saath leke chalunge jahab bhi jaaunga. Main family ko alag nahi kar sakte. Main nahi chod sakta, chahe duniya ki koi bhi taakat aa jaaye (I will take my family along wherever I go. I cannot separate from my family. I can’t leave them, come what may),” he added.
While Natasa Stankovic recently separated from her cricketer husband Hardik Pandya, Aly Goni is currently in a relationship with Jasmin Bhasin. Following their May 2020 wedding and February 2023 renewal of vows by Christian and Hindu customs, the couple formally announced their separation in July 2024.
They both expressed in a statement that it was a "tough decision" for them and that they will still co-parent their son Agastya.
Natasa and her 4-year-old son Agastya moved to her hometown of Serbia after their divorce. Hardik is said to be dating singer Jasmin Walia.
