Call it a secret code or mere curiosity but Sony is certainly leaving no stone unturned for their show <em> Amber Dhara</em>, which is a journey of two conjoined twins. The true identity of the twins that was kept under tight wraps was finally disclosed last night. Though, the Siamese twins Amber and Dhara made a short public appearance on the special screening of the show at a suburban hotel but were not allowed to speak to the press.

Call it a secret code or mere curiosity but Sony is certainly leaving no stone unturned for their show Amber Dhara, which is a journey of two conjoined twins. The true identity of the twins that was kept under tight wraps was finally disclosed last night. Though, the Siamese twins Amber and Dhara made a short public appearance on the special screening of the show at a suburban hotel but were not allowed to speak to the press.
"It's a wonderful concept and I'm sure people will like it. We created these two characters after doing lot of intensive research over conjoined twins. The new girls are barred from meeting people including their family. Both the girls are 23 years old and it has been tough time for them as they have been living in confinement for the past eight months," quips Bhushan Patel, director of the show.
"The girls are given CDs and books to recreate themselves. They crave for company and did break down on many occasions. The production house is trying its best to convince them," adds Bhushan.
Sanjay Upadhyay, Creative Head, Sony said, "This is a clutter-breaking effort that reinforces our belief of delivering something different. It is producer's prerogative as they want to carefully handle the project."
The rest of the cast Mona Ambegaonkar, Shweta Gulati was also present at this special screening.
