MUMBAI: For a daily soap, completing 3000 episodes is a big achievement. And this feat has been achieved by producer Rajan Shahi’s show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The soap started in 2009 with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra in the lead roles. After being a part of the show for a long time, the actors quit, and now Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan are playing the lead roles. Some of the fans have been disappointed with Hina and Karan not being credited for the success of the show. However, letting bygones be bygones, Hina wished the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on its completion of 3000 episodes.
Hina started her career on TV with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and rose to fame playing the role of Akshara. However, when the makers decided a leap, she decided to leave it after her seven-year long stint. There were also reports that Hina had started throwing tantrums on the sets of the show in 2016.
While producer Rajan Shahi is overjoyed to celebrate the success of the show, nowhere has he mentioned Hina in the congratulatory messages. Many celebs shared a montage of this success and Pooja Joshi was one of them. She played the role of Varsha Maheshwari, Hina Khan aka Akshara’s best friend. In Pooja’s video, Hina commented saying, “Many congratulations to the team.”

Earlier, Hina had said there was nothing left for her to do on the show. She wasn't on good terms with her co-star Karan Mehra as well. Karan played Hina’s on-screen husband Naitik.
Fans of Akshara and Naitik are also disappointed as Rajan Shahi did not mention Hina and Karan's contribution to the show.
