Amit Singh Thakur is a super busy man these days!! Not only does he handle production functionalities as the Operations & Promos Head at Shashi-Sumeet Productions, but he also plays an integral role as an actor in their Zee TV show, Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi.

However, what is impressive about the man is that he essays a character that is completely opposite to what he is in real life!!

Amit who has excelled as the supportive husband and father in his earlier shows, plays a very strict father for the first time on-screen in Tumhi Ho Bandhu to the character of Sanjana, played by Chandni Bhagwanani. But people who know him in real life usually see him as a very soft-hearted person who can go all out to help others.

A source from the set told us, “Even while he is shooting as an actor, Amit Singh Thakur sees to it that he maintains high standards on the set. He sees to it that the arrangements on the set are proper, with breakfast/lunch/snacks getting delivered to the cast and crew on time.”                                                    

When contacted, Amit told Tellychakkar.com, “It is true that I am doing this kind of role of an angry, hyper, strict father who is always concerned about his daughter’s well-being for the first time. Earlier, I have played a docile, lovable father and a timid husband. However, in real life, I am not an angry or strict father. This role is just the opposite; so I am enjoying it till it lasts.”

Talking about his dual role, that of an actor and Operations Head on Tumhi Ho set, he stated, “I have to keep a check on everything from time to time. Hence, I keep juggling between an actor’s job as well as production job.                                                                                               

Way to go, Thakur!! It’s not always easy for people senior as him to cater to the needs of all the junior staffs.
