Enacting intimate scenes is never an easy task. It’s even harder for rookie actors who tend to develop cold feet. Often this nervousness is construed as friction between two actors. Feeling this brunt is Amit Tandon and his onscreen wife in Saath Saath, Tulika.
Debutant actress Tulika wasn’t comfortable doing a bold scene with Amit but the rumourmongers went crying out to town with stories of a friction between the two. It was even rumoured that Tulika’s fiancée, who was present during the shoot glared at Amit.

When contacted, Amit rubbished all such tales. “This is totally untrue. Tulika and I get along really well. She’s a new actor and thus it’s never easy to enact such scenes for the first time. One is bound to feel a bit awkward. Stories of her fiancée glaring at me are rubbish. May be such stories add to the TRPs and that’s why some one is spreading these rumours.”
Clearing the air, Tulika chides, “I don’t know who’s spreading such rumours. Firstly, I don’t have any fiancée. I had invited a few of my friends to the shoot. As a newcomer, it took me some time before I opened up to all my co-actors. Amit is a very sweet guy and supportive too. Initially, there were a few nerves while enacting bold scenes but that’s what you expect from a rookie actor.”
C’mon guys, this is all part of the business you are in. So take a chill pill.
