Amita Chandekar unsure of her future in Kasturi

It's her birthday today, but Amita Chandekar isn't getting into celebratory mood straightaway as she's got business to talk. The leggy lass, who's been out of action from her show Kasturi, will decide on her future in the show today. Amita says, "I've returned to the country yesterday. It's my birthday today but before that I need to decide on my future in Kasturi. My character (Pooja) was not being given much importance and I wasn't asked to report regularly for the shoots. As a result, I asked for a much needed break and so I headed to California." Adding further she says, "I'll be holding talk with my creative team today as to whether they want me in the show anymore. If not required then I'll have to hunt for work elsewhere." There's uncertainty surrounding her future in Kasturi and similarly the birthday girl isn't sure about her plans today. "Thus far I've haven't decided on any plans but I'm presuming that my close friends will throw a surprise bash for me. Honestly speaking, I had a great time in California and didn't feel like coming back home," said Amita. Well, when there's possibility of receiving a pink slip on your birthday, it certainly is bound to dampen the spirits. Nevertheless, here's wishing Amita a happy and a prosperous birthday.
