Early in the day Tellychakkar.com reported about director Ravindra Gautam turning producer with the upcoming show Durga on Star Plus.
The same will be produced under the banner Paperbags Films Pvt. Ltd.
The series will be based on a girl named Durga who will aspire to become an athlete.
As per sources, the makers have approached Taarak Mehta’s fame Nidhi Nautiyal to play the lead protagonist.
Now, we have heard that the kid prodigy Ananya Agarwal, last seen portraying young Sita in Siya Ke Ram has been roped in to play Durga’s childhood.
We could not reach Ananya for her comment.
The casting for the other characters is still on and actors will start shooting by next month.
