MUMBAI: Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Anita Hassanandani and husband Rohit Reddy embraced parenthood on February 9. The actress gave birth to a baby boy and the couple is ecstatic with the arrival of a new member in their family. Anita's husband Rohit shared a glimpse of their baby boy on his social media account. He posted a picture in which his baby boy can be seen holding his finger.
Ever since, Anita has delivered her baby, the couple has been flooded with congratulatory messages. Recently, Anita's close friend and TV Producer Ekta Kapoor visited her in the hospital and shared a picture with new mommy. Rohit has also been sharing many pictures of Anita from the hospital.
Anita had shared about her pregnancy and how her husband Rohit has been 'reading a lot and figuring stuff out' on taking care of the baby. She also revealed how Rohit has been taking care of her during pregnancy and has been pampering her a lot. She said, "More so, actually he’s learning things online without me even bringing it up, like he’s learning how to wrap the baby and what to do if the baby needs to burp, so he’s doing his bit and I think he’s going to be a great father."
Anita had announced the news of her pregnancy through a video last year, ahead of her seventh wedding anniversary on October 14.
The 39-year-old actress is known for her popular TV shows like Kkavyanjali, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin 3, and Comedy Nights Bachao amongst others. Anita has also featured in Bollywood films such as Kucch Toh Hai, Krishna Cottage, Ragini MMS 2 and Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starrer Hero.
