Talented actress Ankita Sharma of Lajwanti fame is hit with a streak of bad luck!! The girl who is presently in Chandigarh, Punjab on a work commitment met with a road accident yesterday evening (28 September), as a result of which she has fractured her right elbow.  And the worst part is that she met with an accident soon after grabbing a plump offer on TV. Aww!! Sad, isn’t it?  As per credible sources, “Ankita had been roped in to play the role of the grown-up Krishna in Star Plus’ Suhani Si Ek Ladki (Panorama Entertainment). But this accident has now put the girl on the back foot.” When contacted, Ankita talked at length with Tellychakkar.com on her injury and career prospects. “Yes, it is true that the accident has forced me to opt out of Suhani Si Ek Ladki. The shoot for the show has to start immediately, and with me suffering a fracture, I cannot get on board.” On her accident, the actress explained, “My car collided with another car, and I suffered fracture on my right elbow due to the sudden impact of the collision. The doctor has advied me to have the plaster on for at least a month. I have earlier suffered fractures on my leg; so exactly know that I will need time for myself before I get to work again. If I had a minor injury, I would have carried on with the show. But unfortunately, it is a fracture.” Indeed, unfortunate!!                                          But taking it in the positive stride, Ankita said, “Guess it is fine. I need to be calm and give enough time for my health to get better. Work will happen once I am fine.” That’s the spirit, girl!! We wish you a speedy recovery...
