MUMBAI: Star Plus show Anupamaa has given name and fame to many celebrities. Actor Varun Kasturia who plays the character of Ansh Shah in the show has bagged a new project, a short film titled Lights, Camera, Lies.
While Kasturia plays an innocent good-boy in Anupamaa, he will be showcasing his versatility in his new project and will play an anti-hero. The project will also feature Karishma Sharma who's known for her bold image in various projects. The story of the project revolves around Karishma's character Sonal standing up against abuse on women. Kasturia's character will be seen giving a tough time to Sonal. The project is slated to release on Amazon Prime.

When contacted, Varun shared his thoughts on being a part of the short-film and said, "I truly enjoyed working on this short film. It was my first time portraying a negative character, and it was a challenging yet enriching experience as an actor."
He added, "The story sends a powerful message about women’s safety and empowerment by highlighting what should never happen to women and how standing up against such acts is essential. It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with Director Dinesh Sudarshan Soi, whose vision brought this important subject to life."
Lights, Camera, Lies is produced, written and directed by Dinesh Sudarshan Soi under his banner DS Creations Entertainment.
