MUMBAI: In news that’s sure to excite fans of the hit television serial Anupamaa, popular actor Gaurav Khanna has finally broken his silence regarding the swirling speculation about his possible comeback to the show.
Best known for his compelling portrayal of the charismatic and emotionally layered Anuj Kapadia, Khanna’s absence has been keenly felt by viewers ever since his character exited the storyline.

Delving deeper, Khanna revealed a telling conversation he had with the show’s producer, Rajan Shahi. “When I spoke to Rajan Shahi, he told me my character has got a comma, not a full stop. The producer hasn’t written Anuj off it’s just that, at present, there’s no space in the story for him to return. But this is Indian television anything can happen, and there are plenty of examples. That doesn’t necessarily mean I’m returning right now, but never say never you just never know,” he explained.
Khanna’s role as Anuj Kapadia had quickly become a cornerstone of Anupamaa, with his nuanced performance and heartfelt chemistry with co-star Rupali Ganguly capturing the hearts of audiences nationwide.
