MUMBAI: With a sudden boom in digital content, many actors are venturing into web-series and short films.
TellyChakkar has been at the forefront of reporting updates about digital projects.
We recently reported about Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment being in talks for rolling out a web-series on Amazon Prime (Read here: Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment to roll out a web-series for Amazon Prime?).
Now, the latest update is that Abhinav Singh is producing a short-film titled Nawab, which will have a stellar ensemble cast including Aparshakti Khuranna, Maria Goretti, Mallika Dua, and Geetika Vidya. The project will be based on a dog named Nawab and will revolve around a dog lover played by Aparshakti.
We got in touch with Aparshakti. He confirmed the news and said, 'It is a beautiful story. I am myself a dog lover but couldn’t manage to get a pet for myself because of a hectic schedule. Shooting for the short film was a beautiful and a fulfilling feeling, as at least for the project, I had a pet and got to play a pet lover.'
We contacted Maria. She confirmed the news and said, 'It’s a cameo. I enjoyed playing my role.'
