MUMBAI: Renowned actress and television personality Archana Puran Singh recently shared a rather distressing experience from what was meant to be a fun-filled family getaway to Dubai.
In her latest vlog, the Comedy Circus judge opened up about being duped by an online scam, resulting in a financial loss during their holiday.
Archana, along with her husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi, were eagerly looking forward to an indoor skydiving session at the popular iFly Dubai.

However, the excitement quickly turned to disbelief and disappointment when the family reached the venue only to be told that their booking didn’t exist.
Recounting the unfortunate incident, Archana revealed that they had unknowingly made the reservation through a fraudulent website, which appeared legitimate at first glance. Despite making a full payment online, the tickets turned out to be fake.
“We lost our money in Dubai,” Archana said in her vlog, visibly disheartened. She expressed her surprise at falling victim to such a scam in a city reputed for its stringent laws and high standards of security.
The actress used the platform not only to share her ordeal but also to alert her viewers about the importance of verifying online bookings and being cautious of fraudulent platforms.
While the incident did put a dampener on their day, Archana and her family remained in good spirits, using the experience as a reminder to stay vigilant, even in the well-regulated destinations.
Fans have since expressed their support and sympathy, praising Archana for speaking out and turning a negative experience into a lesson for others.
