Ashish Kaul in Colors' Gurbani

Ashish Kaul is on a roll as he is being flooded with quite a number of offers on television. After giving his nod to be part of Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show Modern Bahu, Ashish got associated with Fremantle India’s upcoming show on Colors, titled Lifeline. And now we have more news!! The actor will soon be seen in Colors’ upcoming show to be produced by Writer turned Producer Damini Shetty’s Mystic Productions and Colosceum Productions, titled Gurbani. The show is based on how the NRI grooms dump their brides post marriage, only to keep them waiting for years and years. Ashish essays the role of the male lead’s father who wants his son to marry a Punjabi girl, who happens to be the daughter of his best friend. Ashish plays a rich Punjabi businessman who goes to Punjab to get his son married. When contacted, Ashish Kaul told Tellychakkar.com, “I have not signed the contract yet. So I cannot say anything as of now. All I can say is that I have been approached for the role.” Gurbani which will capture the flavour of Punjab is set to take the slot of Parichay from 18 March 2013. Talented actors Sooraj Thapar, Navni Parihar, Jitendra Bharadwaj are also present in the show.
