Ashish Kaul joins the big league of actors with the release of the movie ‘Sanam Re’ this Friday, coinciding with the Valentine’s Day.

Already popular on television soaps, Ashish plays the lead Pulkit Samrat’s father and Rishi Kapoor’s son in the romantic film directed by Divya Khosla and produced by T-Series.

The female leads Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela already have high words for Ashish who shot to fame for his roles in TV serials Dil Ki Batein Dil Hi Jaane, Parvarish, Kahani Saat Pheron Ki, KKusum, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki.

Ashish has always been a chocolate boy and has been considered for his athletic body, but he had to put on some weight for his role in Sanam Re which was shot in Kalpa near Shimla, Hiimachal Pradesh.

Talking to Tellychakkar.com, Ashish said, “I braved -6 degrees temperature on shooting locations. I thank Divya for all the comfort and energy she infused into the star cast, especially on locations. I wish the team the very best for the release.”

Stating further on his role in the movie, he averred, “You will have to watch it in the theaters. All I can say is that it is the story between a son going for money and glamour, while the father is sticking to the roots, that is the poverty and his family.”

With this, Ashish looks forward to a long association with T-Series.

Here’s wishing Ashish all the luck!!
