Hina Khan’s casting as Komolika better than Parth and Erica, says Vikas Gupta
Vikas Gupta was asked about the speculations on Hina Khan playing the iconic character in the much talked about show Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Recently, he was asked his reaction about the same and he said, “Hina is a fantastic actress. She aced the character of Akshara for years and she convincingly portrayed the positive and innocent character. She was then seen in many other projects too. I guess she will be great as Komolika; she is a better cast than Parth and Erica.”
Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka actor’s husband passes away
Roma Bali, who is currently seen portraying a grey character in Color’s popular show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, is devastated with her singer husband Nitin Bali’s untimely death. Nitin met with an accident after which he was treated in a hospital and sent back home. However, after reaching home his blood pressure fluctuated and he started vomiting. Although he was immediately rushed to the hospital, doctors could not revive him.
Ashita Dhawan supports Alok Nath against the rape allegations
Following the #MeToo movement, writer-producer Vinita Nanda has accused actor Alok Nath of rape and sexual assault. Ashita Dhawan, who played Alok Nath’s daughter-in-law in Star Plus’s popular show Bidaai, has come forth in the actor’s support. While talking to the media, she claimed that the accusations are baseless and the victim should have spoken up right after the alleged incident occurred. According to her, there is no point in getting all this up after 20 years. Ashita also added that she and her fellow cast members of the show never experienced anything of that sort from Alok Nath’s end.

A short video was played on the set which really took Amitabh Bachchan by surprise and he was shocked to see the old store where he and his father went to buy groceries. The video ended with the sweet voice of his mother singing a song written by his father. Big B never expected his birthday to be this special and couldn’t control his tears. He never expected that anyone would have a recording of his mother’s song which surprised him.
