MUMBAI: Making someone laugh is no easy feat says actor Ashna Kishore, who is part of Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli's Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. The actor says that making someone smile is very challenging. "It is easy to make someone cry but it takes a lot of effort to make a person smile. We do this with the help of the crazy things that we do in the show. So I feel it is not an easy thing to do," she says.
Talking about her character in the show, she says, "My character's name is Katori in the show but I have changed it to Kat. In the show, I am more like Poo of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. I relate myself to Alia Bhatt. I think the name Katori does not go with my image. She wants to speak in English which is a very good thing but when she speaks in English, it doesn't sound like the English language. It is more like a mixture of Kanpuri and English."
The audience has been loving her in the show. "People are loving my character right now and they are surprised by the English which I am speaking in the show. It sounds very funny to the audience. Viewers are also liking the fashion sense of Kat," she says.
Meanwhile, Ashna says she loves working with veteran actor Himani Shivpuri as well as producers Binaifer and Sanjay. "It has been great because she is one of the most senior actors and she has worked a lot in the industry. It is great because I get to learn a lot of great things from her," she says, adding, "As far as working with Binaifer and Sanjay goes, it has been great. It is my first show with them. I was not well these past two months. They have waited for me so that I can catch up with the show. Usually, producers do not do such things and most of the time, they replace the actor with someone else. But they have waited for me and I am really grateful to them. They are really good to me both off and on-screen."
