MUMBAI : Promising “Entertainment Ka Naya Avtaar, Asli Gujarati stories aur Zabardast kalaakar,” COLORS Gujarati, the only Gujarati entertainment channel, is set to raise the bar of entertainment with the launch of two soul-stirring shows, ‘United State of Gujarat’ and ‘Shyam Dhun Laagi Re.’ For the first time ever, Gujarati entertainment will feature prominent television faces showing their Gujarati Tadka in the shows. Much like the ‘Saavan Ka Mahina’, these shows, premiering in June will shower your hearts with emotions, drama, and divine love. Get ready for a double dose of entertainment from the comfort of your homes!

'United State of Gujarat' is a heartwarming family drama tracing Kay's (Sana Amin Sheikh) journey, who is 'Dil Thi Gujarati'. She is on a quest to reconnect with her Gujarati roots in India, especially with her Nani (Ragini Shah), who embodies traditional Gujarati values, meaning she is 'Vat Thi Gujarati.' The stellar cast includes Raj Anadkat as Keshav, Vandana Vithlani as the antagonist, and Ami Trivedi as Kay's mother, Yamuna. Siddharth Randeria, as the narrator, guides viewers through Kay's emotional journey.

Alongside this family drama, COLORS Gujarati will be presenting a unique tale with ‘Shyam Dhun Laagi Re,’ a semi-mythological show that delves into the life of Adi Kavi Narsinh Mehta through the lens of Shri Krishna. The first time ever a show will be a tale of ‘Bhakt ki Kahani, Krishna Ki Zuabni.’ Popular actor, Krishna Bharadwaj takes on the role of Shri Krishna, while Paresh Bhatt and Neelu Vaghela bring to life the devotion of Narsinh Mehta and his dadi, respectively. Adding to this stellar cast, Hitu Kanodia, a stalwart of Gujarati cinema, will be portraying the pivotal role of Narsinh Mehta’s father. This musical saga will feature original bhajans, sung by popular singer Parthiv Gohil as well.
