Avinash Sachdev's prior commitment keeps him away from performing in Zee TV's Maha Sangam...

Rubina Dilaik and Avinash Sachdev created magic together as the leads of Zee TV’s Choti Bahu. Their popularity as a jodi was so intense that the makers (DJ’s A Creative Unit) and the channel brought in a season 2 of the show. But this is history now, as the soap is not on air anymore. Having said this, Zee TV’s completion of 20 years made way for the past and present faces of the channel to get together on one stage. Tellychakkar.com has extensively reported about a star-studded evening being planned by the channel which will be aired on 2 October 2012 in the 3 hours Maha Sangam Special that will be shot on the sets of Punar Vivah. As reported by us, Avinash and Debina were to perform a romantic act for the mega event. However, we now get to understand that Avinash will not be part of the celebration and Rubina will be performing a solo number. Wondering why Avinash could not make it? Let us hear it from Rubina herself. Rubina told us, “Yes, Avinash and I were to perform for Zee TV’s mega celebration. However, Avinash had a date issue and since he had prior commitments (shooting for a commercial ad) exactly on the day of the Zee shoot, he is not able to make it to the event. It would have been nice to be back as a jodi on the platform of Zee TV. But Avinash is a thorough professional, and he had to stick to his prior commitments. I will be performing though. I do not want to reveal about the performance, as I want my fans to see and enjoy it.” The shoot for the mega event is happening today (29 September 2012).
