MUMBAI: Tapu aka Bhavya Gandhi quit TMKOC after featuring in it for more than 8 years. Though the actor is not a part of the daily anymore, he shares a close bond with the star cast. Recently, on his birthday, he went live on Instagram with one of his friends and was joined by Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
They were super excited about talking to each other, and during the conversation, Mandar confessed that he misses Bhavya everyday on the sets. He also recalled how he has seen Bhavya in all age groups. He even teased the latter that now he has become a 'hero'.
Bhavya was very happy chatting with Mandar and even wished him father's day. Mandar then stated how proud Bhavya's father must be watching him doing good in life.
For the uninitiated, Bhavya lost his father last month due to COVID-19.
Interestingly, in the show, Mandar's character Bhide was always against Bhavya's character Tapu. However, in personal life the two are really fond of each other. Bhavya literally grew up on the show, which gave him instant popularity and his character Tapu became a household name. He was replaced by Raj Anadkat.
