Badal Pe Paon Hai: Noor Matharu shares, ‘My mother cried when she saw me on-screen’ - EXCLUSIVE

Noor said, “When I went on the set, I did not know how to give looks to the camera or set up the mike because what we learn in theatre is quite different as it is practically doing a workshop. I remember I cried on the set and said that I don’t know what I am doing here as there are such fine actors. They are veterans and have so much finesse. I told Sargun ma’am that I am really scared and she assured me that she’ll get through it. Everyday is a new experience and it is a rollercoaster ride.

When asked about her family’s reaction, Noor averred, “My mother always wanted to become an actress and she could not. She is fulfilling her dreams with her debut in a webseries. She is my biggest inspiration. My mother cried when she saw my contract and especially when she saw me on-screen. I believe in the karmic cycle that what you could not do and aspired for, your daughter will complete it and that is actually happening. She told me that she could not become a heroine but she is happy that I got to be one. My entire family is very happy and supportive.”
