Karan Mehra aka Vedant of Viruddh is making his stage debut.
Barry John, the guru of SRK, will be guiding him to take his first steps on stage. We caught this young chap in a tete-a-tete, sharing his experience of entering the world of theatre.
"I'm doing a play with Barry John. This tale is inspired from an Italian play called Servant of Two Masters. It's going to be my first commercial play and I'm feeling a little nervous," says Karan.
Further elaborating on his role, he says, "I'm playing the role of Khuram who is about to get married. There is a whole drama revolving before marriage and then a twist in the tale. The difficult part of this play is that it's in Urdu. Raghuveer Yadav and Kunal Kapoor are going to be with me," he points out.
What's on in Viruddh? "Now my character is growing. I have already announced that I'm starting a new TV channel. Vasudha (Smriti Irani) is tense over how I'll go about it whereas Vedika (Anchit Kaur) is happy. Vedika feels that this could create a tiff between Vedant and Vasudha."
So this energetic actor is in the swing of things with his show Viruddh and debuting in theatre. Creative double delight, what say?
