A page from the personal diary of Hiten Tejwani Hello everyone, this is Hiten Tejwani, your Karan Virani of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi… a show on Star Plus, which helped me get married to Gauri Pradhan. Born in Mumbai, I am active as an actor from the year 2000. For me, getting married to Gauri brought immense happiness. And then in 2009, we multiplied ourselves becoming four from two when my wife delivered twins. In a way, this was like heaven on earth kind of experience, for me becoming a father of twins Katya and Nevaan. That very moment I felt like I have got back my childhood days. Getting to be a father is a matter of joy when you feel as if you’ve got a promotion. Every day, I love to watch my children grow before me; it’s like you love to do all the stuff which can bring a perfect smile on their faces. Their happiness makes my day worth living. On the career front, I consider myself to be blessed that even today people appreciate for my roles as Karan Virani and Gautam of Ghar Ek Mandir. My first appearance on television was, in fact, as Gautam for Balaji Telefilms. I consider all my roles that I have done to be the best because each and every one has proved to be a step to success. But, for me being Gautam is the most memorable role that I have played because there’s a kind of emotional attachment with it. Getting the award for best acting added more appreciation towards my work. My wife and me have also bagged umpteen awards for best jodi on screen. This further heightened the emotional bonding between us. Right now, I am playing the role of Manav in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta. Since all my roles have been different from each other, you can say that I have experienced many kinds of spices by playing these characters. Hmm, I think that’s enough for the day. This is Hiten Tejwani taking a leave for now. We will meet soon with the news of a new project. But for now, enjoy and stay blessed.
