Sai Ballal who is currently seen in Mata Ki Chowki on Sahara One has recently started believing in God. He was not so much into rituals earlier but just before having begun this show he experienced a strange dream which was the turning point in his life. "Even before taking up this show I had a weird dream. I just took it lightly but when I received the offer to be a part of Mata Ki Chowki I realised that the dream indicated something," says Sai.

Elaborating on his dream he explains, "I dreamed of running on hilly regions. I just ran and ran and suddenly I met a fisherwoman and I asked her where was the mandir . She pointed to the top of the mountain and told me that there was a mata ka mandir. I got up and narrated this dream to my wife who told me that is a call from matato visit Vaishnavi Devi." "As the days passed by I forgot about it. One day suddenly I received a call from the production house for the audition. Initially I rejected it as I'm not religious. But they insisted that I give it a try I liked it and said yes," he adds further. Continuing with his experience he says, "I had no idea of where the shoot would take place. After a few days I came to know that it's near Jammu from where you can see the Vaishnavi Devi temple. That was the point I recalled my dream and since then I started believing in God and have even turned religious," he quips. "My wife and I are planning to visit the temple (Vaishnavi Devi). Before that I'll be visiting my native place Mangalore, where I'll be visiting my kuldevi temple," he concludes. God sure has his own way of making his presence felt! And Sai has now understood that.
