MUMBAI: Preetika Rao is one of the most loved and celebrated actresses and she is best known for her performance in the serial Beintehaa and Love Ka Hai Intezaar. 

Her characters Aaliya and Mohini were loved by the audiences and had become household names. Her chemistry with Mohit Seghal and Harshad Arora was loved by the fans. The Beintehaa pair had become a huge craze. 

Post Love Ka Hai Intezar, she has been on a break from television, and fans miss watching her on-screen.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her the similarities she sees between her real and reel characters. 

The actress said “Aaliya was more intense. I went through a whole lot of emotions while playing this character and can resonate more with her. I also won all my awards including 'Best Debut', 'Performer of the Year', 'Best Jodi', and 'Best Actress' for Aaliya. Today, Beintehaa's International success in its dubbed versions has got Aaliya the love of people from Turkey, Indonesia, Africa, UAE, Pakistan, etc., apart from India. People of different origins DM me till date that Aaliya is their role model." 

We also asked her one quality she would like to imbie from these two characters, to which the actress said, “The lesson I learned from Aaliya is that when you are 'righteous' as a person, people who wrong you will eventually come back to you asking for forgiveness. If not suffer their guilty conscience.” 

Well, it’s been a while since Preetika Rao has been seen, and fans are waiting to see her back on the small screen.
