MUMBAI: In Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, love takes centre stage as Bharat Ahlawwat’s character, Raghav, decides to learn the guitar in a heartfelt effort to impress his wife, Reet (Ayushi Khurana). What makes this track even more special is that Bharat knows how to play the guitar in real life—a passion he developed after watching the film Rockstar, which inspired him to learn the basics of the musical instrument. Bringing a slice of his true self into the role, he performed the sequence himself, adding an authentic and heartwarming touch to the moment.
Off-screen too, Bharat didn’t miss the chance to share his passion for music. During breaks, he entertained his co-stars with impromptu jam sessions, turning the set into a lively, music-filled space full of laughter and bonding.
Bharat said, “I’ve always loved playing the guitar, and getting a chance to do it on my show was so much exciting. It allowed me to bring a piece of myself into the character. I actually got inspired to learn the basics of guitar after watching the movie Rockstar — it left a deep impression on me. Though I’m not a professional, I’ve kept at it over the years. When my co-stars found out, they insisted I play something for them too. We’ve been bonding over music during our breaks, and I didn’t miss the chance to lighten the mood by playing a few tracks. It brought such a fresh energy to the set. These are the little moments we cherish as actors — they stay with us long after the scenes are done.”
While the story continues to unfold Reet and Raghav’s emotional journey, Bharat is striking the right notes, both with his acting and his music on the sets.
As Raghav and Reet continue to deal with unspoken emotions and missed chances with Rohit’s (Aasim Khan) entry in their lives. Will Reet and Raghav finally confess their love, or will fate take a different turn?
